6th Invasion

[Squid Girl can be found at the park today, marveling at this white stuff falling from the sky and shivering from the cold.  She hasn't bothered to bundle up all that much, because she's used to cold deep-sea temperatures.  Unfortunately, she doesn't have her squidlike resilience to low temperature or high pressure back yet, and this damnable human body just isn't doing the trick.  But that isn't the first thing on her mind - priority number one is to check out the lake and see how her mission is going.  When she gets there, though, she's confronted with something she's utterly unfamiliar with.  She taps the edge of the iced-over lake with her foot and jumps back in surprise, pointing at it.]

"What the heck?  What's wrong with the lake?  Why is it... solid?"

"All sorts of stuff! They can extend out to just about any length, and they're really fast and strong too! And I have really fine control over them, so I can do things ten times faster than a normal human."

[Holds out one of the 'tentacles' to Luna. Since she hasn't regained them for what they are yet, they're really just going to feel like normal hair right now. Just... shaped like the picture somehow.]

"Like I said, though, they don't really work right now."
