[Well, it seems the horrible human plague of high fevers and sweaty palms is finally over, so Squid Girl has crawled out from under her covers to conquer Mayfield anew!

[First she heads for the phones.]

Looks like the stupid human plague is finally over. You guys get the dumbest diseases, you know that? The first thing I'm going to do when I'm in charge is wipe that off the face of the planet. It's way too annoying.

[Later on, she heads over to her biffle Taiwan's house carrying a small package along with her and knocking excitedly on her door.]

Taiwan! Hey, Taiwan! Open up!

[Late that night, anyone wandering around Mayfield's streets may see a strange blue glowing form headed their way. Depending on your character's particular proclivities toward being terrified or belief in the supernatural, it may look like a will-o-wisp, a ghost, or a full-on glowing demon from the sixth level of hell ready to devour your character whole. Or it may just look like Squid Girl cheerfully waving her tentacles about as she glows with a soft blue light. Your choice. Either way, she's out wandering the streets trying out her newly regained bioluminescence ability.]

[Miki turns and walks squid girl over towards Miki's house at 453 Stone. Her laugh becomes increasingly manic as she kicks open the door and heads towards the restroom.]

W-what are you doing? Stop it!

[FLAILING AROUND NOW]

[As Miki enters the restroom, she turns the flailing squid girl upside down over the toiler (which, since Miki lives with 2 men is conveniently up,) and dunks her like a donut. She reaches for the handle with a toothy grin.]

[SHOOTING OUT TENTACLES TO BLOCK BEING DUNKED]

No! Stop it! I was just joking!

[In a rigid, almost monotone voice.]

IT WAS A VERY FUNNY JOKE ehheheheheheh CAN'T [Push] YOU SEE [PUSH] THAT I AM LAUGHING? [BIG PUSH]

[Squid Girl strains as hard as she can against the pushing, several tentacles wrapped around the toilet bowl itself as a few more push back from around the edges.]

I'm sorry! I'm really sorry!

[It's no fun torturing crying people, so Miki lets go of the adamant cephalopod.]

Well as long as you are sorry! I guess I should make it up to you, do you want anything to eat?

Shrimp!

[It's the automatic answer.]

I don't know if we have any shrimp, but I can make some fried rice and put whatever I can find in it.

I guess that's okay.

If you can find some shrimp I'd be happy to throw it in there.

I have some next door! I'll go get it!

[handwaving, derp derp, LOOK NOW THERE'S SHRIMP]

[Miki takes some rice and out out of the cupboard and starts frying it up with the shrimp.]

So, what was the glowing thing anyway. You're not a ghost, but were you about to explode?

Huh? No, why would I explode?

Things always glow before they explode.

No, I can just glow.

Well that's good. I don't want a worthy rival blowing all over the place.

Well, you don't have to worry about that with me!

[Miki walks over with the bowl of shrimp fried rice. It smells good, perhaps not the most quality, but what you would to find in a comfort food level Chinese restaurant. A toothy smile occupies Miki's face.]

Oh, good. We wouldn't want that to happen.

It smells great!

[Yeah, she's easy to please. TIME TO DIG IN.]

[After a momentary disappointment that Squid girl called her bluff Miki sits down and eats herself.]

So, uh, why do you glow anyway? Did you paint your body with that stuff they use in watches?
