1st Invasion

[Someone's been a busy little squid today.  After waking up in a strange place and tearing her new bedroom apart, Squid Girl met the all-drone family she's been assigned to live with here in Mayfield.  Fortunately for her and probably them, she's so damn stupid that the ensuing conversation has her utterly convinced that she's managed to successfully take over the household, as the drones all seem rather accepting of her and willing to do things for her.  Finally, some respect!  More than she's used to from Eiko and Chiziru, anyway.  Clearly, this marks a turning point in her war upon the surface dwellers!  So after she's done meeting her new family, Squid Girl is out on the front porch of the house at 452 Stone Street, posing triumphantly with her hands on her hips and yelling emphatically at anyone who happens to pass by.]

"Attention, humans!  I am Squid Girl, messenger of the sea and your future overlord!  I have claimed this house as the first foothold in the coming invasion of the surface world!  Those who submit now will be greatly rewarded and receive preferential treatment when my brethren rise up to conquer your pathetic civilization!"

"What's wrong with my tentacles? Why aren't they working?"

[She grabs one of them in her hand, gently cradling it.]

[Squid Girl sighs, staring at the hand distrustfully for a moment before taking it and standing.]

"So I wonder if..."

[She trails off in thought for a moment before making some disgusting-sounding throaty noises that sound like she might be about to throw up, but when she finally spits into her hand, it's just normal spit.]


"I can't make ink either! This is the worst!"
